Irin DanielsAudio Production Instructor
Putting audio to film and producing music videos is Irin Daniel’s passion. Before he made Collins his home and discovered the satisfaction of teaching, he worked full-time in the music industry and collaborated with some of rap’s and R&B’s biggest who’s who. His most famous clients have included D.J. Qick, L DeBarge, Sony Records, Epic Records, Artist dDirect and Aftermath Entertainment. Irwin has worked on a number movie soundtracks including Pros & Cons. Most recently he produced the audio for G.A.M.E. Rides, a weekly television show featuring custom cars. Growing up with a father who is a professional musician, Irin never considered any other career. An accomplished keyboard musician, Irin’s real love takes place behind the scene in the audio studio working with musicians to elevate their sounds to the next level. His big break in the music industry came when he had an opportunity to work with Battlecat, who is best known for producing Snoop Dogg’s music. Today Irin divides his time between teaching audio techniques to film and video students and running his own multi-media company, Clear Image Media Group, in Phoenix. His students benefit from his business as many have the opportunity to intern at his studio producing music videos, adding sound to commercials, and laying down sound tracks to film. Before Irin settled at Collins, he taught at Arizona State University (ASU) and for the Maricopa Community College System. He has been at Collins College for seven years. His advice for students interested in breaking into the music industry: be passionate and be persistent. Contact us today for more information about our Arizona college. |

Steven Spielberg may not agree, but we all know what really catapulted JAWS to the top of the movie charts was not its plot line or visual imagery, but the anticipatory, fist-clenching music of the great white approaching its prey. Can you hear it?
